Privacy Policy

Saanjh Saverey is a personalised children’s storybook service operated by Centerfroot (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy explains what information we collect when you create a book, how we use it, and the choices you have. We’ve written it to be read by a parent or guardian, because that is who places an order.

Who this policy is for

Our service is intended to be purchased by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over, on behalf of a child. By using Saanjh Saverey you confirm you are the child’s parent or guardian and that you consent to the processing described here on the child’s behalf. We do not knowingly allow children to transact with us directly.

Information we collect

• Your child’s first name and story details — the name, age, language, theme, family members and personalisation details you enter to create the book.
• Photographs you upload — the photo(s) of your child (and, if you choose, other family members) used to generate the book’s illustrations.
• Your contact details — the parent/guardian email address we use to deliver the book and provide support.
• Phone number. When you place an order, we collect your mobile number. We use it to send order and delivery updates, to provide customer support, and to contact you about your purchase. Your number is shared with our payment processor (Razorpay) to process your payment, and is not used for marketing unless you separately opt in.
• Delivery address (printed books). If you order a paperback or hardcover, we collect the recipient’s name, postal address, and a contact phone number so we can print and ship your book. We don’t collect a delivery address for digital-only orders.
• Payment information — processed by our payment provider, Razorpay. We receive confirmation of payment and an order reference, but we never see or store your card or banking details.
• Basic technical data — standard logs (such as device and usage information) needed to run the service securely.

How we handle your child’s photograph

We treat uploaded photographs as sensitive. To state it plainly: a photograph you upload is used solely to generate your child’s storybook character and illustrations. It is not used to train AI models, is never sold, and is never shared for advertising. After your book has been delivered, the original photograph is permanently deleted from our systems.

How we use your information

• To create, generate and deliver your personalised book.
• To send the book and order-related emails (delivery link, receipts, support replies).
• To print and ship physical books to your delivery address (printed orders only).
• To process payments and prevent fraud, via Razorpay.
• To respond to your questions and provide customer support.
• To meet legal and accounting obligations.

Payments

Payments are handled by Razorpay under their own terms and privacy policy. Card and banking details are entered directly with Razorpay and are never visible to us.

Where your data is stored

We store personal data within the India region. We retain order details for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal or accounting requirements; uploaded photographs are deleted after delivery as described above. For printed orders, your delivery address is kept for fulfilment and as part of your order records.

Who we share data with

We share data only with service providers who help us run Saanjh Saverey — such as our payment provider (Razorpay), cloud hosting, and email delivery — and only as needed to provide the service, under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations. We do not sell your personal data.

Payment processing (Razorpay). To take payment we share your name, email address, and phone number with Razorpay, our payment gateway. Razorpay processes this data under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

Consistent with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA), you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, and you may withdraw your consent. You may also nominate someone to exercise these rights in the event of incapacity or death. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
